Amazing pictures reveal that the cricket World Cup match between India and New Zealand was suspended due to fog.

INDIA vs New Zealand has been suspended after heavy fog descended on the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Stadium in India.

Play has been stopped with India 100-2 and chasing New Zealand’s 274 score.

The unprecedented scenes led to players from both sides walking off the pitch with the fielders completely unable to see the ball.

Usually with poor weather during evening matches, a light reading can be taken but the fog made that impossible.

There was worry about whether the game would be able to be resumed due to the need for a breeze to lift the fog.

Fortunately that then arrived and after a 20 minute pause in proceedings and the teams are now back out.
