Thai police confirmed that they have ruled any suspicious circumstances out following Warne’s death.

Officers also used information from the family of the cricketer to confirm that he was suffering from asthma and heart problems.

Yuttana Sirisombat, Superintendent Yuttana Sirisombat, said Warne had suffered chest pains prior to his death and had seen a doctor about the condition.

Warne's body arrived at a local hospital in a motorcade, flanked by the Australian ambassador as well as local police officers.

He will be transferred by ferry to Surathani on the mainland, where an official autopsy is performed.

His family accepted an offer for a state funeral when his body was repatriated to Australia.

This comes as James Erskine, the manager, sheds light on the final moments of Shane Warne in a Fox Sport special, Remembering Shane Warne.

He claimed that the group was due to meet for drinks at 5pm. However, Andrew Neophitou, a pal of his, knocked on Andrew's door and realized "something was wrong".

James said, "He went into there and said, 'Come on. You're going to miss your flight'. Then he realized something was wrong.

"And he turned the patient over, giving him CPR and mouth-to-mouth for about 20 minutes. The ambulance arrived.

"They took him to hospital, which was approximately a 20-minute drive. I received a call 45 minutes later confirming that he had been declared dead."

Warne had watched the Australian Test cricket team take on Pakistan from his bedroom, before the tragedy struck.

At the village, he was given a Thai massage and "looked lively & happy" after it was over.

Cops took photos of the room while forensics teams worked at the PS2,000-a night villa.

'DESPERATE'

SE was told by Anuch Haniam, a paramedic, that Shane's friends had already tried to bring him back to health.

"I took over CPR while we waited to get an ambulance.

"They were desperate. One was probably crying. They were very stressed and panicked.

"They tried to wake him, but he didn't sleep. I heard someone say, "Come on Shane. "Come on Shane."

"I tried my best to help him, and I gave my all. "I'm sorry I couldn't help but to be there for him."

For the cricket ace, led by Liz Hurley, tributes have been flooding in.

The actress was in a three-year relationship with Warne until their split in 2013.

She stated, "I feel as if the sun has disappeared behind a cloud for good." My beloved Lionheart, RIP."

Piers Morgan called his friend "uniquely ferocious and mischievous" when he wrote a column for SE.

He said, "I am absolutely devastated that he has gone so quickly and will miss him immensely."

"But I enjoyed every minute of his exhilarating and unpredictable company. And how many people can you say that?"
