After Australia cricket legend Rod Marsh suffered a heart attack at a charity event, Rod Marsh, 74 was rushed to the hospital.

ROD MARSH is currently in critical condition after suffering a heart attack.

John Glanville, David Hillier, and David Hillier, organizers of the Queensland Bulls Masters charity tournament, took the 74-year old Australian Cricket legend to the hospital.

His family is on their way to be with him in hospital. He is already surrounded and surrounded by many of his former teammates.

The Australian Cricketer's Association stated that Rod Marsh is currently in critical condition after suffering a heart attack.

"Rod is an important figure in Australian cricket, and has been for over 50 years.

"He was in Bundaberg for the Queensland Bulls Masters event, and is currently surrounded his former team-mates. His family will soon join him, as they make their way to Bundaberg.

Marsh was a former wicket-keeper and played 96 Test matches for Australia during a 14-year international career that included 355 dismissals.

After retiring from the game, he served as chairman of selectors in Australia between 2014 and 2016, and was also an England selector between 2003-2005.

Marsh claimed that Marsh would not have survived if those present at the scene had waited for an ambulance.

Bulls Masters boss Jimmy Mahersaid, "John and Dave are so deserving of all the credit. The doctor stated that if they had waited to get an ambulance, he wouldn't have made it.

"Rod arrived at the car around 10.30 and called me at 10.05am. He told me he couldn't wait to share a beer with us. Soon after, Dave called me from his car and informed me of the events. It's devastating."

As the cricket world reacts to this worrying news, well wishes for Marsh are flooding in via social media.

England's Barmy army posted on Twitter: "All thoughts are with Aussie legend Rod Marsh, who's been suffering from a heart attack." Keep fighting Rod."
