As Aleem Dar celebrates his wicket in Pakistan Super League, he bizarrely tries to tackle a bowler.

UMPIRE Aleem dar tried bizarrely to TACKLE a Pakistan Super League bowler celebrating a wicket during a record-breaking win.

Shahnawaz Dahani, Multan Sultans' paceman, was too fast for the Quetta Gladiators batsmen. He was also too agile for Aleem during the bizarre exchange.

Brilliant Shahnawaz Dhani took 2-22 runs in just three overs, and was too difficult for Aleem Dar to see in the field.

Aleem looked more like an experienced Test umpire than a determined rugby fullback who has a winger sailing straight at him.

As he tried to stop Dahani's charging, the 53-year old stood on his toes with his arms open and placed his feet on the ground.

The Pakistani official, however, was not able to match the 30 year-old fellow countryman.

Dar was unable to contain his excitement as the Sultans did.

Dahani, the fan favourite, was jubilant after Naseem Shah's second wicket.

It was easy to understand why he was so happy.

Beaten Dar couldn't help but smile as the bowler zoomed behind him towards the boundary.

Danahi finished with match-changing figures of 2-22 in just three overs, as the Sultans won the largest victory in PSL history.

They defeated the Gladiators with 117 runs, despite Jason Roy’s latest lightning strike.

In his 38 balls at the Gaddafi stadium in Lahore, the England white-ball specialist hit seven fours as well as a six.

After winning the toss, Sultans were able to bat first and had accumulated the 245-3 largest ever PSL total.

Gladiators responded with just 128 runs in 15.5 overs.
