After some India fans claimed they were racially abused at Edgbaston, the ECB promised to investigate

Anil Sehmi claims he is the official drummer for the Bharat army, India's equivalent of the Barmy Army. He took to Twitter to share his disgusting story.

Sehmi wrote, "Racist behavior at Edgbaston toward Indian fans...

"People call us Curry c**ts or P*** b ds.

"We reported it the stewards, and showed them the culprits at most ten times. No response. All we were told was to stay in our seats."

Sehmi copied Azeem Rasiq, who exposed the racism scandal at Yorkshire into his next post.

A fan wrote, "Please spread this message.

"We had women in tears when @ECB_cricket fan threatened us.

"Slitting their throats and looking at us, calling us all kinds of names."

Kushal Malde, another fan, stated that he and others had suffered "some of the most severe abuse" at matches.

He said: "Some disgusting racism" (e.g., 'you smelly P***s).

"The stewards told the Indian fans that they should sit down while allowing the abuses to continue."

A spokesperson for the ECB stated that they were concerned by reports of racism at today's Test match.

"We are in touch with Edgbaston colleagues, who will investigate.

"There is no place in cricket for racism."
