Graham Thorpe, an ex-england cricketer, is now in hospital after falling seriously ill on Tuesday.

His family has requested privacy, even though his condition is not being discussed.

After their defeat in The Ashes by Australia last year, Thorpe quit the England coaching team.

He was now set to be the new Afghanistan coach after accepting a job offer from them.

Thorpe, however, is still in hospital and his family, including Amanda, will support him.

Amanda Thorpe is Graham Thorpe's spouse.

Thorpe has a wife named Amanda. He met Amanda after Nicky's divorce.

Thorpe is a father to two children with Nicky and one with Amanda.

Amanda, 52 years old, has kept Amanda's private life secret. It's not known how they met or what Amanda does for a living.

The PCA released a statement on behalf of Thorpe’s family Tuesday afternoon.

It stated that Graham Thorpe had recently fallen seriously ill, and was currently receiving treatment in a hospital.

"His prognosis at this point is uncertain. We ask for privacy for him, his family and us at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with Graham's family.
