SACHIN Tendulkar’s son Arjun has shown off his chiselled six pack after debuting in the Indian Premier League.

The 23-year-old prodigy is hoping to live up to his cricketing legend dad’s name after taking his maiden wicket in a T20 thriller.

The left-arm pacer made his first appearance for the Mumbai Indians in April after signing with the illustrious side in 2021.

He has taken three wickets since the IPL calendar got underway but also leaked 92 runs – leaving selectors with mixed reviews.

However, away from the pitch there is no denying the South Zone star is looking fitter than ever.

Arjun recently revealed his cheese-grater physique in an Instagram story.

In the snap, Arjun posed shirtless for his fans while resting in a hotel room.

The man had distinct contours running across his mid section as his defined abs popped for the camera.

It comes as the young ace received a call-up from the Board of Control for Cricket in India in June to take part in their 20-day camp.

A BCCI source told NDTV: “Arjun already has a Ranji Trophy.

“A left-arm pacer who bowls between early and mid 130km per hour and bats left-handed… he brings in variety.

“It is not just about numbers but also about potential.

“He is 23 and has time to develop is what this senior selection committee thinks.

“Yes, he only has 12 wickets from seven first-class games but he has shown a certain degree of ability and coaches will work on that.”

Arjun’s dad, Sachin, was one of the greatest cricketers the game has ever seen.

The international ace captained India and is regarded as one of the best batsmen of all time.

Sachin is the all-time highest run-scorer in both One Day International and Test cricket with more than 18,000 runs and 15,000 runs, respectively.
