MODEL Caprice revealed yesterday that her glamorous female friends went crazy over Shane Warne.

She shared how Lee-Ann Liebenberg, a supermodel, was charmed by the cricketer at a glittery event. Then she walked into another bash the next night with her.

Caprice, 50 years old, was launching her South African lingerie brand. She also attended a charity event the night before and sat beside Shane.

She said, "To the side of him was LeeAnn. So he was quite happy with the seating plan. He ended up being the life-and-soul of the whole event."

He was hilarious, funny, self-deprecating and charming, and, of course he was good-looking. He was hilarious. All the girls loved him.

He loved every minute of it. He was more funny the more attention he received.

They should have hired him as the host for the entire night. They gave him his microphone so he could make all these comments.

"He kept the room laughing with his hilarious one-liners."

Caprice hosted a party in Johannesburg the next night, and Shane came arm in arm to Lee-Ann, who was once voted FHM South Africa’s hottest woman.

She said, "I didn't invite Shane because I didn't believe he would want to come."

"He was like, "Hey Cap!" and had this cheeky smile on his face.

It was Shane's typical behavior. It was an enormous loss for the world that he was such a unique character.
