After finding Shane unresponsive in his hotel bedroom, Shane's friends administered CPR.

Police said that Warne, a 52-year-old Aussie icon, died shortly after ordering a new suit from Thailand and calling a Thai massage therapist to his villa.

As pals attempted to revive him from a suspected heart attack, a TV showed the Australia vs Pakistan Test match.

Before leaving home for Thailand, Warne was suffering from chest pains. He had been on holiday for one week with his friends in Ko Samui.

The star's manager revealed that he had just taken a three-month vacation from his busy schedule.

SE was informed by Anuch Haniam, a paramedic, that Warne was not responsive when he arrived at the Samujan resort's two-storey villa on Sunday.

He stated that Shane's friends had already tried to bring him back to health.

"I took over CPR while we waited to get an ambulance.

"They were desperate. One was probably crying. They were very stressed and panicked.

"They tried to wake him, but he didn't sleep. I heard someone say, "Come on Shane. "Come on Shane."

"I could see that they were all shocked, so I tried to focus and do my best.

"There were four to five people in the room. There were only men and no women.

"The villa was spotless and I didn’t see any cigarettes or beer inside.

"There was nothing that I could see that would suggest they were partying. It was Shane Warne, which I didn't realize when I arrived. He's a star, but I do know who he really is.

"I tried my best to help him, and I gave my all. "I'm sorry I couldn't help but to be there for him."

Yesterday, Thai police released photos of the room as forensics teams continued to work at the PS2,000-a night villa.

Sky Sports pundit and father-of-three Warne had previously visited a tailor to have his suit cut, according to Yuttana Sirisombat, Police chief.

He said, "He called the girl for massage. It was just massage.

He didn't die from the massage. He wasn't well."

Colonel Sirisombat stated that Warne's family told police that Warne was having health issues before he left.

He said, "He had asthma and had been to a doctor to examine his heart. His family told us that he had suffered from chest pains since he returned home.

The police confirmed that no drugs or alcohol were found in the area.

Yesterday, officers interviewed Warne's close friends for two hours.

They have ruled out foul play and are treating the death of their client as non-suspicious.

The villa room was not subject to any violent argument or break-in. Warne's remains will be taken to Surat Thani, Thailand.

According to authorities, it will need to be negative for Covid prior the autopsy that is due today.

Colonel Sirisombat stated that investigators are examining the possibility of blood stains in the area being caused by attempts to revive Sirisombat or other medical issues.

He continued, "So far, there has not been any suspicious issue in the investigations."

"However, the blood stained floor was visible which friends said was the result of CPR practices.

"Therefore the investigators must carefully scrutinize it before concluding the case. All assumptions remain."

According to reports, Warne's family, including Simone Callahan, his ex-wife and their children Brooke Summer and Jackson were in shock last night.

Warne was regarded as Test cricket’s greatest bowler, having taken 708 wickets. He flew to Thailand with his friends Gareth Edwards, Andrew Neophitou and John Dopere. Mr Neophitou was the executive producer of the newly-released Amazon Prime film Shane, which is about the star. Warne wasn't responsive late Friday afternoon.

James Erskine, Warne's long-time manager and pal, told Fox Sports Australia that Neo knocked at his door because Warnie is always punctual.

He said, "Come on, you're going be late," and then realized something was wrong.

"He handed him over, gave him CPR, mouth to mouth, and then the ambulance arrived.

"They took him to hospital, which was approximately a 20-minute drive. I received a call 45 minutes later confirming that he had been declared dead."

Yesterday, Mr Neophitou, who is believed to have been in the next-door bedroom, stated that he wanted Shane to return home.

Mr Erskine stated that Warne asked for time off prior to working in England as a commentator this summer. He was also scheduled to coach London Spirit in The Hundred competition. "Shane had decided that he would have three months off.

He wanted to take a year off and I told him that it was impossible. They would have forgotten about you for a year. He decided to take three months off.

"And this was only the beginning of it. They'd only arrived the night or day before."

Womaniser Warne was often seen with a drink or a cigar. She was well-known for her hard partying off the pitch. But Mr Erskine insisted: "He didn't drink much. He's not a big boozer like everyone thinks.

"I sent him wine crate -- it's still there ten years later."

"He doesn't drink, never took drugs, ever. He was so against drugs that he did not do anything.

He was going to do what he enjoys -- play in poker tournaments, play a lot golf, be with his children, and that was it -- have some time for himself."

Warne was declared dead at the Thai International Hospital.

The body of the deceased was moved to the Koh Samui Hospital. It was there that it was buried in a mortuary.

Dr Dulyakij Wittayajanyapong, hospital director, stated: "The doctor informed us that the patient had died before they reached the hospital. However, we continued to use a ventilator and CPR until the patient was stable for 45 minutes."

He said, "The patient did not have a pulse or vital signs when he was found on the scene."

"I can't say what caused the death, but if the family has any questions they must have an Autopsy performed." Police stated that Warne and his friends had been booked in the villa up to next Thursday, March 10.

Warne posted his last Instagram post on Monday, revealing that he was on a workout and posting a topless photo of himself from his playing days.

He stated that Operation Shred had started (within 10 days) and that the goal is to return to the shape of a few years back by July.

Dr Philippa Kaye suggested that Warne may have had blood in his room due to high blood pressure. Dr Kaye, who is currently on ITV's This Morning said: "High blood pressure may cause nosebleeds.

"It's possible that he had a sudden increase in blood pressure, which could lead to a heart attack.

"I don't know if heart attacks can cause a nosebleed.

"A large nose bleed can cause bleeding at the back of your nose and in the mouth."

Although injuries such as broken ribs or fractured ribs can occur during CPR, she said that it is unlikely to cause a nosebleed.
