Kaur responded to the umpire’s decision to give her out by swinging her bat at the stumps – sending them flying.
The incident took place during a one day international between India and Bangladesh – which ended in a thrilling draw.
Kaur was furious with the umpire as she walked off the field and she continued to remonstrate with the officials.
When interviewed after the game, she said: “A lot of learning from this game.
“Even apart from the cricket, the type of umpiring that was happening there, we were very surprised.
“The next time whenever we are coming to Bangladesh, we’ll have to make sure we have to deal with this kind of umpiring and accordingly, we’ll have to prepare ourselves.
“Some pathetic umpiring was done, and we are really disappointed about some decisions given by the umpires.”
Kaur’s wrath continued as she turned her ire on the Bangladeshi team during the trophy ceremony.

“The umpires did it for you. Call them up! We better have photo with them as well.
“Bring the umpires too.”
Fans reacted to Kaur’s conduct on Twitter with one writing: “Harmerpreet Kaur’s behavior was disgusting and stupid she should be punished for at least three to five matches.”
Another wrote: “@ICC should ban Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur for a lifetime”
