TRIBUTES pour in for Rudi Koertzen (South African cricket umpire) who tragically died at the age of 73.
Koertzen was killed in a car accident on his way home from a tournament of golf.

A spokesperson for the family said that Rudi died from injuries sustained in an accident near Stilbaai, Cape Town and Gqeberha.
Rudi Jr confirmed the death of his father to South African website Algoa FM News.
He stated that his father had gone to a tournament with friends. They were supposed to return on Monday but they decided to play another round.
The passing of Koertzen has caused a lot of grief in the cricket community and prompted many tributes to the former umpire.
Aussie great Jason Gillespie wrote: "RIP Rudy- very good umpire, nice man. We are thinking of his family and friends.
Former India international Virender Sehwag said: "Vale Rudi Koertzen! Om Shanti. His family deserves condolences.
He was a great friend. He used to make a joke of me when I was a rash player. '"
Sri Lanka legend Kumar Sangakkara stated: "Saddened by the tragic loss Rudi Koertzen.
"What an amazing friend and umpire. Honest, open and passionate about the game. He was a great friend and we shared many a beer together talking cricket. My friend, RIP."
Aleem Dar, a fellow Umpire, also gave a touching tribute.
He stated that it was a huge loss for his family, South Africa and cricket.
"I was able to play so many games with him.
"He was an outstanding umpire and a great colleague. He was always cooperative on the field and willing to help out in any way possible.
"Because he was so kind, he was well-respected by the players."
