What was Shane Warne’s cause of death

Although Warne's family has yet to confirm the cause of his death, Fox Sports Australia claims that he died from a heart attack.

Warne was at Koh Samui (a tourist destination in Thailand) when he died.

His death was confirmed by the following statement: "Shane was found unresponsive at his villa, and despite all efforts of medical staff, he couldn't be revived."

"The family asks for privacy at this moment and will provide additional details when necessary."

The Thai police confirmed that the Australian batsman had died from natural causes. There were no suspicious circumstances.

Keith Warne and Brigette Warne, Warne’s parents, said that the night of March 4th 2022 was when a never-ending horror began for their family. It was the night we lost Shane Keith Warne, our beloved son, father and brother. This is a tragedy we will never be able to comprehend.

"To find the right words to express our sorrow is a difficult task for us. Looking to the future without Shane would be impossible. We will need to cope with our grief by relying on the mountain of happy memories that we have.

After retiring from all forms of cricket in 2013, the Aussie was revered worldwide as one of the best players of the game.

Warne was a domestic cricket player for Victoria, and English domestic cricket for Hampshire.

However, his greatest successes on the cricket field came with Australia's national team.

After taking his 700th and last Test Wicket in The Ashes 2006, he retired from international duty.

He has been a regular commentator on TV and a cricket pundit since then. In 2009, he signed a deal for Sky Sports.

Before they split in 2005, Warne had three children with Simone Callahan - Brooke Summer Jackson and Summer Jackson.

After that, he began to date Elizabeth Hurley, an English model and actress. However, they split in 2013.
