YOU can’t speak about cricket without mentioning Michael Vaughan – and his wife Nichola has been with him through thick and thin.

From captaining England to their first Ashes victory in 18 years, to scoring over 600 runs including THREE centuries, Vaughan has done it all.

Who is Nichola Vaughan?

Born in Northern Ireland, Nichola Vaughan is the long-term lover of cricket legend Michael Vaughan.

The lovebirds have decided to keep where they met private but the pair tied the knot in 2003.

Nichola has been spotted supporting her husband at various tournaments and Tests.

But her most notable moment in front of the camera was when she was pictured at the 2005 parade celebrating England’s Ashes win with Michael.

Do they have children together?

The couple have three children together – Archie, Jemima and Tallula.

But Tallula’s birth is most remembered by fans as the ex-England captain was forced to leave the second Test match against New Zealand to be with his wife in 2004.

England did go on to win the series 3-0 which was the first time they had won a Test series between the teams since 1997.
